Tanica

Case Study

Strategic challenge

Tanica set out to premiumise the Spritz category with a bold, botanical-forward aperitif inspired by Sydney’s coastal culture. Founder Adriane needed a clear commercial strategy to carve out a space in the market - beyond traditional aperitifs - and drive meaningful brand engagement.

Key services

Fox in the Well worked with Adriane to:

  • Define channel strategy, identifying key cities, venues and consumer moments to unlock growth.

  • Develop a compelling Commercial Value Proposition, ensuring a strong brand and sales narrative.

  • Advise on activation strategy, securing menu placements and visibility in top on-trade accounts.

  • Produce a commercial forecast, to support investment raise and define business KPIs.

Results

Within a year, Tanica gained distribution in 80 target venues, with 71% featuring a Tanica Spritz on their menu.

Strategic execution drove sales of up to 10 bottles per week in key accounts, establishing Tanica as a true challenger and next-generation Spritz in influential coastal bars.
